Warzone's September 24 update: no more C4 from Last Stand, and the Fortune's Keep boat gets nerfed

The short version
Raven Software added a 24 September entry to the Warzone Season 06 patch notes. It’s a small exploit-cleanup update rather than a balance pass, and it contains no weapon tuning. The main changes:
- You can no longer detonate C4 while in Last Stand.
- The Fortune’s Keep Boat Exclusion Zone is weaker: 2 uses instead of 3, and roughly 80 seconds instead of roughly 140.
- The $500 self-elimination cash drop is gone if you had no cash when you died.
- A Bank Vault exploit that let players avoid all damage is fixed.

C4 from Last Stand
Downed players could manually detonate C4, which let a knocked player take their finisher down with them. Raven calls C4 “an outlier” here and says it “was not intended”. If you’ve been planting C4 as a Last Stand insurance policy, that play is gone.
Fortune’s Keep Boat Exclusion Zone
The boat’s Exclusion Zone takes a double cut: one fewer use and a much shorter duration. Raven also says it found an exploit that could extend the Exclusion Zone beyond its intended duration, and this change makes sure it expires as designed.
Cash on death
Previously, dying to your own damage with no cash still dropped $500. Raven says players were using this to generate more cash than intended, which affected the in-match economy. It now drops nothing in that situation.
Bug fixes
- Loadout Crates could become non-interactable after being moved by attached C4. Fixed.
- Bank Vault: players could avoid all damage by staying in the vault interaction screen. Fixed.
- Weapon Prestige: prestiging from the “Equip Weapon and Open Gunsmith” flow could prestige the previously selected weapon instead. Fixed.
- VS Recon: the VS Rebound Havoc Repeater Fire Mod blocked progress on the Network Special Camo challenge. Fixed.
Raven also lists two fixes that went out in earlier updates: the delay when detonating C4, and the Eldritch Gate (Floating Island) event on Haunted Hollow being temporarily disabled.
